Taiaha Wānanga Part 2
This video is from our taiaha wānanga held at Whakatū Marae in November 2015. The boys stayed two nights at Whakatū marae and helped with all the mahi, they learnt haka, karakia and tikanga associated with mau rākau and developed the various kaupapa in our Graduate Profile including Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga, Rangatiratanga, Whakapapa, Ekea te Taumata & Te Reo me ōna Tikanga Māori.

The video is from the last evening when whānau were invited to come and see what the boys have learnt throughout the year.

Taiaha Wānanga Part 1

In Ngā Mana Kākano o te Wairepo we run a programme called Tama Tū Tama Ora for our senior boys which focuses on the development and well-being of our tama. This year we have run weekly mau rākau sessions with a focus on improving the engagement, self-esteem and achievement of our tama.

Outlook for Someday winner!
"No More Cats!" is one of 20 winners in the Outlook for Someday film competition. The film tells the story of the Stephens Island wren and was made by Phoenix and also stars Wiremu, Blade, Megan, Kenneth and India.

The Judging Team selected the 20 winners out of 130 entries from all over New Zealand. All the winning films can be viewed on the Outlook for Someday website.
